In 1995, became the youngest driver in modern era to win Winston Cup. (7 wins)

1996- second to Terry Labonte in points. (no victories)

1997- Won Winston Cup -- 10 wins. Youngest ever to win Daytona 500.

1998- Won Winston Cup -- 13 wins. First to win Brickyard 400 twice. Tied two modern records with 13 wins and four wins in a row.

1999- 7 wins. Youngest driver in history to win most races for five consecutive years. Second Dayton 500 win.

2000- 3 wins. Youngest driver in history to reach 50 wins.
